About Reiki
Reiki energy healing is a unique holistic technique to connect the mind, body, and spirit. Commonly known as the “laying of hands,” Reiki uses a hands off or placement of hands approach to reduce stress, relax the body, calm the mind, and enhance overall health and well-being. Reiki is pure life energy and does no harm and has no negative side effects.
During a Reiki session, the Reiki practitioner focuses on improving the flow and balance of your energy to help your body heal itself. To do so, the practitioner acts as a conduit by delivering healing energy from their hands to your body. However, unlike other touch therapies, Reiki energy healing does not involve pressure, massage, or manipulation.
We can all experience energetic blockages and imbalances from time to time, preventing us from living with vitality. Instead, we are left feeling exhausted, scattered, and even ill. We can also struggle with energy-sabotaging habits that prevent us from achieving our full potential. Reiki energy healing can help address these issues. Reiki alone does not treat or cure any medical or health-related condition. It is not a substitute for traditional health care. Yet people all over the world turn to Reiki as a complementary approach to healing. In recent years, its use has grown in popularity in hospitals and hospices to enhance the efficacy of conventional medical treatments and techniques.
